Does anyone know if I can use the Keyboard system preference pane to create custom keyboard shortcuts for Firefox 3.0.1 on my 10.5.4 MacPro? ...or are custom keyboard shortcuts only possible in Cocoa apps such as Safari, or the Finder itself?

Thanks!

The Finder is Carbon. And Firefox 3 is Cocoa. So that's not the reason why it's not working. Custom keyboard shortcuts should just work in either kind of applications. Firefox is a very special kind of beast though. And alas, they broke this feature when doing their non-standard stuff again.

The attitude expressed in comment #3 of that bug is the reason why Firefox sucks so much on Mac by the way.
