Hi. I have a powerbook G4 1.25ghz. Will this be sufficent to run OS X Leopard?
I only have 1 gig ram.

Yes, but if you can, you should put more RAM in it. Otherwise, stick with 10.4.11.

It won't be any speed demon, but it definitely runs well enough.

It would be okay with 2 Gb of RAM, but with 1 Gb I would use Tiger.

Exactly the machine I'm running, only 1.25 GB ram. No problems what so ever. Slow compared to a Macbook, but no complaints at all.

I had Leopard in my 1.5 GHz Powerbook with 512 MB of RAM (I thought that I had 1 GB since forever, oops), the machine ran fine for the everyday stuff, even NeoOffice wasn't too bad. 1 GB of RAM will be plenty unless you do heavy work.

With enough RAM Leopard might even run faster on that machine than Tiger.

I only have 1 gig ram.
I am using 10.5.4 on my 1.5 G4 with one gig of RAM. The only programs that launch a little slower than everything else are large ones like DreamWeaver or PhotoShop. With everything else I'm a contented camper.
