The new iMacs at school have F11 as the volume button, but use that button all the time for expose to show the desktop. I know I can hit function F11, but is there a way to set it like 10.4 so I don't have to use that stupid function key?

Thanks!

System preferences->Keyboard and Mouse->Keyboard tab. Check the box 'Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys'.

How does that work on a desktop keyboard? I don't see an "Fn" key on mine...

The old style keyboards don't have one.
The new aluminum wired keyboards have it over above the cursor keys.
The aluminum bluetooth keyboard has it in the lower left corner of the keyboard.

This is all about apple adding the "media" keys to the function keys that (by default) are used instead of the function keys. (If that makes sense.)
