I have a client's office running a Mac Pro with 10.4.11 Server hosting to 3 iMacs. We have a Canon 6550 USB printer connected to the server and all is perfectly fine with the printer sharing settings on the server and all the iMacs can print to the Canon until the server is restarted or shut down. After that, the Canao still shows in the printer list on the iMacs, but no job will print to it. Looking at the printer sharing settings on the server shows they keep reverting back to not shared. Resetting them restores printing until the server is restarted again.
Any ideas?
