Black macbook had a failed hard drive...
Switched it for a new 320gb unit, but must have done something silly at install, I can't figure how to log in (no, have no idea what this can be).
But the really bad thing is that the macbook doesn't read any keypress at boot... not C, not opt+whatever...
it simply boots straight to macosx, where I can't login
this sucks bad, have no idea how to format and restart...

Can anyone share some suggestions, please?
Keyboard works in the login window... but not even the trackpad works at boot (pushing the button at start up doesn't eject cd, but it works at login window)...

What happens if you hold down just option?
Does it give you a list of places to boot from?

Incredible as it may seem (I had fumbled with dozens of combos, had read so many forums and was sure I tried this too, but obviously...) it's working!
