First crash in the 3 years I have owned this thing. Mac Book Pro. I think the error was a 512 but I am not sure. What is this and what can cause this. The screen did the blinds and said I needed to shut it down and restart.

It rebooted and plugged it back in and it was fine.

My first Panther crash was when I plug an external CDR recorder by USB. I'd press play instead eject and Panther hangs (freeze). It is very hard to crash a MACOSX and USB devices are one of the very few possibilities.
