i got a new macbook (2.4 aluminum) last week, and am pretty-much loving it (despite the half-assed screen, and no firewire...).

several times, some of my preference settings have changed, on their own, or will not 'stick'.
"set date and time automatically" will not stay on, and "tap to click" keeps unchecking itself.

any ideas? annoying...

one thing i realized (and this has been an os x bug since 10.2...)...changing the date & time FORMAT can cause the "set date and time automatically" checkbox to lose it's check...

i set my format back to default, and the check is sticking...
