Gentlemen,

I have two Macs and one of them (a Mac Mini) has a 500GB USB HDD connected to it.
Everything works flawlessly when I browse, play or do anything in the HDD using the
Mac Mini (the HDD host).

When I connect to this external disc from my other mac (a iMac PPC 20'') using the
Mac Mini as a bridge (through AFP) everything works fine regarding FILE BROWSING, Photoshop
works, web server stuff (html/php) and my real problem just comes on Cog, the music player.

I can normally add music from this share to my Cog program, and it plays perfectly,
but when I quit the program I get a Kernel panic. There is no way to avoid this.
If I press command+q my iMac freezes with that several language warning screen.

Please note:
My Cog is running on my iMac.
My iMac is connected through AFP to the Mac Mini.
The Mac Mini has a external USB 500GB HDD plugged into it.

iMac PPC 20'' ---> Mac Mini <---- 500GB HDD

I did post this on Cog's forums, but the most active developer there
said that it is not a fault of Cog - looks like something on the very own Mac OS X.

Try it on an absolutely clean system. No programs installed of any kind, except for those necessary to do the test. If it still happens, report it as a bug to Apple.
