I was wondering if it is possible to have my stereo connected to my iMac so that _all_ audio-out is played through my stereo and the iMac built-in speakers.
I have an Airport Express, which I can use for music using iTunes, but the problem is that this system does not support movies and other sound which I use a lot and is therefore very important. Any ideas?

Sure, use a cable from your iMac to your stereo or a hack like Airfoil if you don't mind the lag.
