Weird things are going on.

The left shift + t doesn't give T
In Firefox left command + b doesn't open bookmarks.

Everything else works with these two buttons. The left shift and left command key are my primary ones, so it's weird that only those two combinations are effected.

Is there some pref file that can be deleted to fix this or is it something bigger?

I got the problem resolved, but have no idea what the cause is. Turning off Shapeshifter did the trick. For some reason Finder no longer accepts the themes Shapeshifter sets as default. It just sticks with the brushed aluminium. This while all other applications do use the Shapeshifter set themes.

Maybe I'll figure out what I changed/installed/removed that caused this.
