Hello, I have been able to set up OSX builtin ftp server (not too hard anyway

BUT - I am unable to access (or share) anaything but my own home folder, no matter what folders I add or remove in Preferences-Sharing-File Sharing. I would like to share an entire external drive. Is it even possible?

Thanks!

You could add a symlink to your drive, but I have no idea if the FTP server will follow symlinks. You shouldn't be using FTP anyway, it's quite insecure.

Is it just FTP that won't let you in? Can you get at it with file sharing?

What happens if you drop in an alias to the drive in your home folder?
