These are really cool. A ton of screen savers for XWindows and OS X.

So far my favorites are the Cthulhu tentacles and the Lament Configuration that gets solved.

The Apple ][ one is also really fun.

Wow. I feel like just setting my screensaver to randomly go through all of these, just to watch 'em.

Nice collection. They bring back sweet memories, I had StonerView and Hypertorus on a SGI O2 and Braid reminds me some saver I used to enjoy on a PM 8500.

I liked XAnalogTV, Phosphor and Goop the most.

BTW, I was looking for a truly detailed (as detailed as it can get for obvious reasons) screen saver featuring the solar system… any idea if there is such a thing?.

There used to be a really good one from TriVectus called Planets, but it no longer works. They also do the best Warp screensaver I've ever seen.

Unfortunately they don't have plans on upgrading them to work on Intel Macs or Leopard.

It makes random solar systems. You can even tell it to do a random catastrophic event where planets collide, huge meteor storms, comets, or even an alien space craft zooms by and blows up a planet.

Seeing the flying toasters saver reminded me that I'd LOVE to find a way to make my old "After Dark" screen savers work on my iMac...

Someone needs to update the Tentacles to use OpenGL.

Oh, sounds great, I could give those a try with the MDD G4 but it is running Leopard. Sure they don't work under Leopard?, well I can try them anyway.

SolarWinds is really nice, sort of the Final Cut Server packaging

And LotsaWater reminds me of Nintendo's Wave Race

Well, those are OK with a PowerPC and Leopard.

I have a public transit screen saver that I made myself. Unfortunately, many of the pictures are too small to display full screen, I have to do collage view. Even so, some are still a bit pixelated.

Will post ZIP archive on my website if anyone is interested.
