Could really use some assistance.
I've been trying to keep my machine clean and running smoothly. In that vein, one of the items recommended to me was to repair permissions. So once in a while, I do that.
Lately, however, I'm realizing that even though I'll repair my permissions, immediately afterwards there doesn't seem to be a change. When I boot back up, same things need to be repaired again when I run Disk Utility.
I'm lost - can anyone shed some light on this? Your help is appreciated.
