I'm missing the power management setting in the top bar after I've installed the 10.5.7 update via software updater, afterwards tried the combo-update but nothing changed. My apple is a MBA Rev. B.
Seems that more users have this bug while others have the settings implemented again...any suggestions ?

You mean the battery indicator menulet, right? What happens if you toggle the setting to show it in Energy Saver?

Well right in previous versions of mac os several settings were available when clicking the battery indicator menulet in the top bar. These setting was eliminated with the 10.5.6 update and should be reactivated with 10.5.7 but it doesn't show up in my case other users don't have this issue.
Sorry what do you mean by toggle the setting to show it in Energy Saver? what is it?

It seems this might only apply to older models (pre-NVIDIA 9400/9600) as the removal of the option was described as being related to the power mode switching on the newer MBP. Apparently the change between GPUs was governed by Energy Saver settings.
