Copying Folder off Dock?

Can I make a copy of my InDesign (CS4) Fonts folder that is on the Dock?
I am still on 10.4.11

the folder itself isn't in the Dock. It should be somewhere else. IIRC, you should be able to right click/click-hold/ctrl+click on the folder in the dock and hit either Properties or Open in Finder to see where it actually exists. You can then copy it from there.

You can actually copy a folder from the Dock by dragging it to the destination while holding down the command key.
I don't see a reason why the Fonts folder should be in the Dock though. Find it the way shifui described it, then just remove it from the Dock.

I don't have any font management software and they don't show up in InDesign unless it lives on the Dock....someone taught me that a few years ago...maybe its no longer true..Thanks.

Everything in the Dock is an alias that points to an actual file or folder on your hard disk. This has always been the case since 10.0. Adding or removing something from the dock simply adds or removes the alias, not the actual file or folder. Whatever this Adobe employee told you makes no sense.
As mentioned, right-click a file or folder in the dock and select "Show in Finder" or "Open xxx" to see the actual file or folder.
