Hello everybody,

I can't seem to find a way to launch applications at start-up, but already iconized.
I want to have Things and ICal running at login, but don't want their windows cluttering up my desktop and having to close the manually after every boot.
Yes, I'm lazy!

Is there a trick to do that?
Thanks,
Lory

System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items:

Add any apps that you want starting when you login and then click the hide checkbox.

There is no urgent need to have iCal starting when logging in since its icon updates and alarms fire even when it is not running.

Anyway, to start hidden at login go to System Preferences->Accounts->Yourname->Login Items and set the Hidden checkmark.

I don't understand what you mean by "iconized", so I can't help you there, sorry.
