Hey guys

I'm fixing to buy a new mac and I was hoping to take advantage of the student deal. It goes until sept. 8th.
However, I dont want to buy it and find out that my OS is outdated a week or two later when Snow Leopard comes out.
Do you know how apple has treated these sorts of situations in the past or if they have an official policy on people who buy products that become outdated right after their sale? Even if I buy the computer before OS10.6 comes out, will I get a free upgrade if the release is just a few weeks afterwards?

thanks!
