On weekdays, I would like to be able to wake my Mac at 7 am, put it to sleep at 9 am, wake it again at 6 pm, then put it to sleep at 1 am (and at weekends on a completely different schedule altogether) so that it fits around my working life. However, at the moment I can only do one part of that schedule and I can't have different schedules for different days. It seems to me that this more advanced scheduling should be feasible in software. Does anyone know of any technical reason why the Energy Saver scheduling options are so restrictive?
