Duh. Just because YOU don't find it weird doesn't mean it's not.

WTF is a Database Reset? What does it mean, "Inconsistencies in your sync information for Bookmarks were detected and have been repaired"? What kind of inconsistencies? How is this different from, for example, greater than 5% of your bookmarks will be changed/modified by syncing, which is a normal message you get when syncing?

I've been using sync for YEARS and have NEVER seen this message or anything like it.

Alas, to the OP, never seen it nor do I know what it means. However, it appears to happen to others...

From the looks of things, no one seems to know what causes it or how to fix it. That weird enough for you Turtle?

OMG, what's the fuzz ?

It seems to me that this is purely informational, no need to worry about it.
Why are you getting so worked up over it ?

Because instead of actually trying to help the guy or post something informative, you instead post an inane comment just for the sake of posting.

If you really felt an overwhelming urge to post in this thread even though you had nothing useful to contribute, why not just say what you just said, "It seems to me that this is purely informational, no need to worry about it" or "I don't see anything weird about that message". What was the point of adding, "Just because you haven't seen it before"?

As I clearly showed in my post, a lot people get messages of this type and none of them know what it means or how to stop it from occurring. It's quite obviously a "weird" message whose cause is unknown, whether it's purely "informative" or not.
