I recently decided to try and learn how to use terminal, well the guide walkthrough that I Was reading, was talking about changing the crontab, the settings that change when computer runs clean ups and things of that nature. However, the location that they told me to find, does not exist according to OS X 10.5.7, or I at least can't seem to find it.

Sorry, this is the wrong forum for this I will repost it there.

For future reference, you can PM (private message) a mod, he can move a thread from one forum to the other.
The mods for each forum are listed at the bottom.

Or PM one of the admins (e.g. ghporter), they can do the same.

The best solution is to Report your own post for being in the wrong location. That sends an email to all the mods in the forum it's currently in.

If you want your question answered, you'll need to give more info. Where were you expecting to see 'crontab'? Normally, you open a Terminal window, type 'crontab -e' and you're in your own crontab, in edit mode. The system cleanup scripts are not in your personal crontab, though.

/usr/lib/cron/tabs

But like I said in your other thread and has been said here, you don't need to know where they are if you use 'crontab -e'.
