The upgrade to 10.6 kills Network share on iMac (2008), any one seeing this ?

Now trying

a) Archive & install
b) Fresh install
c) Fresh Install & Migration from TC Backup

There is no A&I with SL.

With SL the only thing you can do beside the regular update install is E&I via Disk Utility on the SL install DVD. Once you have formatted your disk and installed a vanilla SL, you can use MA to get back your user accounts, apps, etc. from your TM backup or from a clone.

correct A&I is not an option so its the other 2... if they work I'll go back and reconfirm that its the installer (I have a CC'ed clone, on firewire). Strange thing is that I have the identical build on my AIR and it is not showing these symptoms (AIR was cloned from the DT 4 months ago) and were at the same patch level pre UPGRADE...
