So knuckle head me, I deleted my time machine partition on my external. Long story, I won't bore you with my epic fail.

Since there is no way to restore a partition after it is deleted (which by the way is stupid as it gets, wtb undo button) I have a recovery software, Disk Doctors Mac Data Recovery. It got everything from my external under the root, to include the backups.backupdb folder with the machine and all of my dated backups under it.

The question now comes:

How do I extract my data from the time machine backups.backupdb or other folders that were in my time machine disk?

And as a secondary, is there ANY way complicated or not to merge the TM data I recovered into a new TM disk so I can then recover from that data?

I've moved this to the Mac OS X forum since this is really OS specific, not iMac. I debated putting it in Applications, but TM is built into the OS.
