Hi,

Just wondering if there's any other mac up-to-date program customers here.
Can you leave a post here and let me know how it went for you?
Like whether you have received your copy yet or not; just general feedback on your experience with this service.

As I'm one of them and still not received my copy of snow leopard.
And having a hard time chasing up Apple New Zealand (a.k.a. Apple Australia) for it.

Cheers,
osc

We did the up-to-date program here in the US (SL for $10!) The online registration/ordering was completely overwhelmed and we had to resort to faxing-in the form. We got our copy of SL about a week-and-a-half later.

FWIW, the US UTD program has an office somewhere in South Bend, Indiana. That may be THE US office. That's where the toll-free number rings to, and where the fax machines are (I'm not sure, but my copy of SL may have been postmarked from there, too.) The guy I spoke with when I called about the web-based ordering not working said the system was completely overwhelmed by the volume. Said they only had a small handful of fax machines and they were constantly spitting-out new orders. In fact, it took us three attempts to get our fax to go through.

I ordered my copy of SL via the MUTD program without any trouble online on 23rd August. It shipped via USPS on 28th August and arrived at my mail forwarding service in Miami on 1st Sept. Picked it up here in Punta Cana a couple days after that.

Thorzdad, did you get any type of packaging? All I got was the disc in an envelope and the little fold-out card listing the new features of SL. Not sure if the DR customs folks tampered with it.

I ordered mine back in July, received the disc September 1. Can't remember anything about the postmark, but it also arrived in a bubble mailer with the disc in a sleeve, along with a small booklet.

Ordered mine (and my wife's) online in early September and got them a (very) few days later. Very smooth.
