After the update to 10.5.7, I've been presented with the following dialogue box upon login:

"Do you want the application 'KodakAiOBonjourAgent' to allow incoming network connections?"
Since I do share the printer with my wife, I let it through.

After the 10.5.8 update, I have to ok that process along with these other two processes after kodak:

"Do you want the application 'configd' to allow incoming network connections?"
"Do you want the application 'mDNSresponder' to allow incoming network connections?"

Sometimes I only get the kodak question. In other cases, I also get asked about configd. But to get either my wireless or ethernet to connect to my router, I have to click 'Allow' for all three, which I obviously don't always get prompted to answer. For instance, it just now took me 5 clean restarts to be asked all 3 questions.

I've completely opened up the firewall, and the same conditions still apply, so I'm fairly certain these processes aren't being blocked by the firewall. I don't even know why I'm even being asked to verify them. They always started automatically before. The fact that I'm not always asked to verify all three is even more disconcerting.

I have one other application and a widget that touches on networking immediately after login:
- LaCie Network Assistant (looks for my LaCie 2Big Network drive and auto-mounts it when I login at home)
- iStat Pro (monitors network connection speed and data transfer size, among other useful system monitoring data)

Neither of these were issues before the update either, so I'm really at a loss. To top it all off, there are times when I do answer 'Allow' to all three of the dialogue boxes, and I still don't get a network connection to the router, much less the internet.

Anyone have a clue what is going on with my machine?

Basic machine specs:
(2005) 1.67 Ghz PPC PowerBook
Mac OS 10.5.8 (up-to-date on Security Updates)
2GB SDRAM
