After installing Snow Leopard and bringing my old home folder back, I noticed that I can't browse to the contents of folders I have created in the Finder since the upgrade. To clarify, I can get to those folders and their contents, but from with in the file save or file open dialogs I can't. There those new folders just don't show up.

I have since performed a chmod -R -N ~, in order to remove any unobvious ACLs. It didn't help.

Also, a ls -l@ only shows extended attributes relating to TimeMachine, so no smoking gun there.

Any ideas?

It got fixed by logging out and back in. Strange!
