hi there

I've recently acquired a powermac G5 with OSX 10.4.11 on it.

Under system preferences it doesn't have the Classic environment icon

how do I install it? as I intend to use classic applications at a later date

It won't be there unless you have Classic installed, i.e. OS 9.
