I have some files in folders that I want to move. the look pretty ordinary to me and can see them, open them etc

but when I try to move them I get the message that says more or less they cant be moved because they are invisible

whats this about and how may i fix them?

many thanks

ed: it seems that the HD they are going to might have and identical file but on the destination that file might be invisible

a continuing mystery to mes but probably not to you!

invisibliX

Besides making items visible, it will help hide any incriminating evidence. Very handy.

Delete the files in the terminal, or rename them there, removing the dot prefix (assuming this is what is making them invisible).

Works fine for me, including from the Desktop. Are you running Tiger? It says 10.5 or higher.

The other invisibles utility I keep handy is JuhOS X. It is Tiger compatible, but doesn't look as snazzy.
