Why does Disk Utility in Snow Leopard have a New Image preset for DVD-RAM ?
I thought Macs didn't officially support it.

DVD-RAM was the first writable DVD format supported on Macs, and was delivered on some Powermacs back in the day. Presumably it's stayed the default since then.
The low-end Mac Pro is the most overpriced Mac since the IIvx
