A folder with some pics disappeared; well, not totally, but I can't locate it normally, anywhere on the computer.
The mysterious folder, is actually a subfolder; under regular Pictures folder (although, I think the Pictures folder was represented with the ikon of a folder before, and now, I have an ikon of a photo camera).
What's puzzling me, is that, when I want to attach something from there, or when I'm saving a pic, I got, in the drop down menu, the missing folder in question.
Is there any remedy, how to make the folder traceable again....?
Thanks.

The simplest thing to do is go to Menu>View>Show Path Bar.. this should show where that folder is.

I don't really understand, what am I suppose to do, with the path way. I can figure out, what's the way, to a certain folder, starting from HD, once, the computer is able to pin point it somewhere. The issue is, the folder in question, shows up, when I want to attach a photo from it, but when I type in the folder's name, I get zero results, like it doesn't exist...

Ok sorry, copy a small pic or icon you have & name it in caps FOUND YOU or something then save it to bring that drop-down window to the folder your looking for.
Then hopefully using Spotlight search for the pic using the name this should then reveal where the folder containing the pic is.
"Click on Show all" in Spotlight

I don't have the Spotlight on my computer, and I couldn't find the software for free, so I'm unable to know, will it work.
Thanks anyway...

Spotlight is built into OS X. It's the little magnifying glass icon on the right side of the menu bar.

So what you're saying is that when you're in the Save Dialog box, you can see the folder, just like the folder "Updater" in this picture. Now you want to now where this is located ?
Click on Up-Down button (marked with red circle). It will open the complete folder structure, tracing it to the root level (your Mac's name and HD)

@ Turtle777 yes this is what I was thinking but thought maybe somethings wrong with is system.
I now realise that it's a simple matter.
@ tatar follow turtle777 method, but make sure the arrow along the top of the "save as dialogue-box" is clicked to point up! (has in the pic) Then when you click on the↑ ↓button turtle777 as showed you'll see the correct folder structure.

Hey everyone,
thanks a lot.
Spotlight didn't work, as I was expecting, but I tried saving an image, and with the arrow up, found the folder. After that, somehow, it appeared again in the list of folders, along with all relating sub-folders.
Take care.
