which servers shows up in Shared list in finder?

Hi

Have an issue with which servers shows up in the lists of Shared folders in the Finder windows.
Have some macs thats only see some of the others, not all. And in some cases see them only as SMB shares, but they are sharing by SFP, thus cannot connect through this list, but they connect perfectly if I connect through ip address ( Finder > Connect to server: afp://192.168.0.xxx)

How do I determine which servers shows up in this Shared list????
Somebody knows? This may help me to understand what is working wrong here...

PD: all macs are 10.5.8, (except two that are 10.4.9 and works perfectly with each-other and with the others)
