I have a DiskWarrior CD in my 2007 17" Macbook Pro. I was having trouble booting to the CD so I set OS 10.6.4 to use that CD as the startup. I cannot reset the startup preference when started from the DiskWarrior CD and I cannot get back to using the internal hard drive as boot OS.
Is there a way that can I force the CD to eject upon restart, making the internal hard drive become the boot? I have tried Command-E and also tried holding the E key down as the MBP restarted.
Any ideas are appreciated as DiskWarrior tech support is down until tomorrow.
As soon as you power on the computer, either click and hold the trackpad button or if there's a mouse attached, click the left mouse button. After a few moments, the disc should eject.
