I'm sure there is a simple solution to this.....

I get internet to my computer via Ethernet cable. When i want to stream music to my Airport Express, I turn on wireless and select Airplay in iTunes. Now my computer streams my iTunes wirelessly to my Airport Express. The problem is that once i turn Airport on, it no longer allows me to browse the internet (via Ethernet).

Is there a way to tell my computer for Internet purposes look at Ethernet, but use the Airport Card to stream music to my Airport Express?

Look at your Network settings and Set Service Order so that Ethernet is first and Airport is second.

Sorry for the capitalization. It leaves me feeling like this is a German sentence.

Ethernet is first, however, when i turn on Airport....it jumps ahead of Ethernet.

And then even if i manually change Ethernet back to the 1 position while Airport is still turned on, the internet still doesn't work.

It may take some time for OS X to discover connectivity over ethernet.

Make sure the order is set ethernet then airport. Apply those settings, then reboot.
