Hey all, I just upgraded my brother-in-law's old dual core iMac to Leopard, but when I ran software update to bring him up from 10.5.1, it stalls at "configuring installation" every time.

Any ideas what I can do?

Download and install the 10.5.8 combo updater. Mac OS X 10.5.8 Combo Update

Er, did I say 10.5.6? I guess I meant 10.5.8. I'll try it again, though.

Try with the combo updater though, not software update.
