Hello:
When I click on one of my router names with airport extreme I have to keep on clicking the signal button on the top right so that the speed won't drop to zero and the webpages and downloads don't hang or stop loading. This particular linksys router is the only one with this problem as the other linksys routers and any other brands I've connected to do not have this problem. The signal level is always full and never blinks or get disconnected unless of course forced to. I don't really know but it sort of seems like it is not waiting at all for this router when it is suppose to. Help is very much appreciated.

I'm assuming you mean the Airport menu in the menu bar (there is no "signal button") and that you are constantly losing your wifi connection to a router. Have you tried rebooting the router and the computer that are having the problems? Have you been able to connect fine to this router previously and only recently it started give you problems?

Are you sure you're using your router and not your neighbors?

Yes I did try everything but it just seems like this router that I have been using is the only one with this problem as the other routers around my office dont have a problem at all. Is more information needed? Any help would be appreciated.

Unplug the router's power and leave it unplugged for at least a full minute. Plug it back in and wait for it to initialize, then wait a full minute more. Now check the router's signal strength. If it still varies and drops, go shop for a new router; the one you're having problems with is dying.

There was never a problem with the signal strength thats always been 100% just that the internet speed drops to zero around every minute or two. Even resetting and plugging it back in the probelem still happens. Thank you.
