Since upgrading on my iMac, MBP and MacBook, I cannot connect to any of the other computers from one of the others. I have tried connecting to all 3 with the other 3 with no luck. They show up just fine in the network browser but after attempting to login (both as a guest and as the admin) I get a "connection failed" message. I did not make any changes to my network with the upgrades whatsoever and it was working just fine right before upgrading all of them. What gives? Hope you guys can help me out thanks.

Yes. Sharing is still active and the appropriate drives are listed as shareable. Settings appear to be just the same as I had them before the upgrade.

No, I am not having any other problems with the network. Wi-fi printing, internet access, etc... all work just fine.

You need to look in the logs to see what is happening.

Fire up Console and have a look. Is this over WiFi or ethernet?

Wifi. I can now log in as a guest but not as an admin. It appears I have all permissions correct.

But did you check your logs for error messages?

I can't find anything to explain that error. It does seem to be failing to authenticate properly. You might try deleting any relevant keychain entries and trying to connect again.

I had a weird glitch on a machine after the upgrade - just like yours everything was working before - sharing setup was correct. PCs couldn't get to existing shares on a Mac Pro after the upgrade to Lion. I turned file sharing off and exited sys prefs - then went back in and turned file sharing on... The PC could immediately connect and hasn't had any issues since. Goofy.
