Has anyone else noticed that Lion seems to behave differently with regard to reconnecting to Bluetooth devices?

I have an older Apple bluetooth mouse at work, and the Apple bluetooth keyboard and magic trackpad at home. On 10.6, these devices would all reconnect almost immediately after waking the machine from sleep. On 10.7, they don't automatically reconnect. If I go to the bluetooth menu and choose "Set Up Bluetooth Device..." then as soon as it starts scanning, it discovers my devices and reconnects (I don't actually have to go through the pairing procedure again.) It's just like the radio isn't waking up until I actually try to set up a new device.

If I turn on the option to enable bluetooth devices to wake the computer from sleep, then everything reconnects automatically like I expect it to, but when I have that option enabled, I have problems with my computer waking up in my bag, overheating, and running the battery all of the way down. (It's a late 2008 15" MacBook Pro.) 10.6 reconnected fine without that option enabled.

Just wondering if anyone else had seen the same behavior or knew of a fix.

I have exactly the same problem. I have found that when my Mac Pro will not connect to anything it has changed the name of the computer in the Bluetooth preferences pane to something completely different. Switching bluetooth off and on again returns the name to the correct one. Keeping the box checked to allow Bluetooth devices to wake the computer also stops this from happening.

I started a thread about this on the Apple support forums. There seems to be quite a few people with problems with Bluetooth.
