Hi guys,

I downloaded Lion from Australia App Store few days after its launch onto my MacBook Pro (latest model). For some unknown reason, when I turn on the computer, there is a relatively long period of black screen on the mac, and the start up period is a lot longer. However, there are no other issues while I am using the computer, does anyone know the reason and how I can overcome the issues?

Thank you guys

Shot in the dark: go into System Preferences and make sure that the correct disk is selected as the startup disk. If it isn't, it will still boot eventually, but it will take a little longer.
The low-end Mac Pro is the most overpriced Mac since the IIvx
