Lion-some jpg thumbnails invisible

After installing Lion, when i download pics from the web some of them show up as invisible on the desktop with just the title showing beneath it. If I move it around it comes back to life and shows up. Today after starting up one of them is invisible again. Anyone else seeing this?

Is there really nothing visible except the title or do you see a frame without the icon?
I don't have that problem with images but I have a similar situation with my movies - some show the preview icons and others (same movies type) don't!
I have no idea why...and I can live with it.

It's pretty much invisible completely except for the text on the bottom. Happens to about one in every 5 downloads
