The screen savers are in the main library on the hard drive or in your account library. They should be in a subdirectory called "Screen Savers".

Does AppZapper really resort to spam? Theyve been around forever. Plus, it doesn't work, as per the OP.

Very odd spam that will note that a certain piece of software doesn't work...It may be thing one with a thing two to come (for a competitor), but let's try solving the problem first.
Screensavers can be installed in one of several locations:
~/Library/Screen Savers (where ~ stands for your home directory)
/Library/Screen Savers
/System/Library/Screen Savers
To go to any of these, use the go to folder command from the Finder Go menu and paste the path from either of the above locations into the dialog box that opens. Try them in order and see if you can find the screen saver you installed.

Any link to that particular screen saver.? It might be not compatible with 10.4 (an off-chance), or even with your MBP GPU, (highly doubtful).
Or it might be some weird Adobe Flash based screen saver and your version of Flash is outdated.

I have never had any issues with AppZapper. Please note AppZapper 2 requires Mac OS X 10.6 which you are not running. To get it working you need to download the older 1.8 version. Download link below:
http://appzapper.com/downloads/AppZapper1.8.zip
Let us know if that one works for you !!

Hi, Ben.
It would be really good if you could stop capitalizing words in your sentences other than the first word. Besides making your posts look like spam, I think it might give somebody a seizure trying to read it!
Just some advice from your friendly mod.

Folder one:
In the Finder, Find the menu "Go" and select "Home". In the window that opens, open the folder called "Library", then the folder called "Screen Saver". If it's not there, go to folder two.
Folder two:
In the Finder, Find the menu "Go" and select "Computer". Open your main hard disk - usually called "Macintosh HD". Open the folder called "Library", then the folder called "Screen Saver". If it's not there, go to folder three.
Folder three:
In the Finder, Find the menu "Go" and select "Computer". Open your main hard disk - usally called "Macintosh HD". Open the folder called "System". In the window that opens, open the folder called "Library" (usually the only thing in that window), then the folder called "Screen Saver".

The Hal 9000 screensaver is an application, so it might not be installing itself in the screensavers folder.

I've just tested it.
It is installed in the user's Library/Screen Savers/ folder.
That is Folder One, as described by P:
