10.5 runs fine on my iMac 800, with Leopard Assist. In fact, I even run it on a 450 MHz Cube.
That said, just about any video content sucks on even our 1 GHz iBook. The only reason I haven't bought something to replace my GF's iBook is because I didn't feel like dropping $700 on a refurb Air.
