Have MacOS X Server 1.0 running on a beige G3. The only thing we use it for is as an Apple File Services server, and we've noticed a recurring problem. After it's been running for a few months, it'll alter by 30 minutes the 'created' and 'modified' time for all the files (the time is not changed in the Unix filesystem, only when served through appleshare). After a day or two, it'll add another 30 minutes, and so on (this causes problems with our daily backups, as you can imagine). Restarting the file server software fixes the problem temporarily (until it starts up again in a few months). Has anyone else seen this problem? Is it known by Apple? Is there a fix for it?
