How to configure natd service (possible natd and ipfw together) to redirect request from any IP (ie. 0.0.0.0) to particular IP (ie. 212.111.10.10) on machine in local network (ie. 192.168.0.30). There is -redirect_address option for natd, but I can not set up it properly. Possible, running natd with this option is not enough and it's required to set ipfw rules. Please explain how to... I'll be appreciate for detailed instructions.
I asked Solaris administrator, but he said that in Solaris he adds redirect rules in natd.conf file. But i did't find similar config file in OS X Server.

use the freeware utility Gnat, which you will find on versiontracker.com.

this provides a gui for what you are trying to do.

I prefer to do it manually, setting up the httpconfig file, and tha natd file, and the rest of that jazz...

But, a very easy way to do it with no worries is the utility GeeRoute.

I found GNat to... well... not work. GeeRoute works wonderfully. It isn't a frontend for IP address translation, but configures everything how it must be and whatnot... works really well.

gnat worked fine for me rerouting an internal airport network through my G4s ethernet port and onto the router and DSL modem. Now if I could just figure out how to get NetInfo working. More specifically, just the first step of configuring a DNS server is what is killing me. But I digress...
