I am very picky about my itunes library being the correct grammer, not having doubles, no extra characters and things of that sort. Manny times when I import songs to the library I haveto fix the info by right clicking and hitting get info. I would like to backup my library, along with all of the song and artist corrections that I have made, as well as keeping the ratings that I have put. In order to backup to an external and keep this info, would this be done by going to music in the finder and dragging the entire itunes folder to my external or is there a better way ? Thanks

That is the way, if you're not using Time Machine (which you should be).
