So I just started downloading from Blubster (which I totally recommend, by the way), but I have only been able to do it by plugging my laptop right into my DSL modem. I have the Netgear ME314 wireless router and would love to be able to download music without having to plug in. However, I can't connect to the Blubster server through my router, which has a built in firewall. When I am in Blubster there is a "config" option that asks me "if your computer is behind a firewall, you'll have to specify a port for downloading (in server mode)." Anyone have any idea of what port I want to type into the little box to make this work?

Somewhere in the documentation for Blubster (if any) there should be a mention of what port it likes. Try the help file, their web site, etc. Then go into your router's configuration app and forward Blubster's port through to your PC.

Then, before you try ANYTHING with Blubster, get an industrial strength antivirus program, install it, tell it to be hypercritical and extremely suspicious, then cross your fingers. Peer to peer networking software has become the darling of the virus writing crowd, so using it without "protection" is... well it's very bad for you.
