Is there a away to network and old first generation iMac 233 RevB to a wireless network. I want to stay away from hooking it up straight into the base station. I just want it to be another wireless client.

The Rev B's do not have an Airport slot. However. I've seen a USB gadget that allow some PCs to become wireless capable. Is there any such thing for old iMacs?

Thanks.

I'm using a Proxim USB wireless adapter on an old beige G3/266 with no problems at all in OS 9. It's more expensive than the PC versions, but not many others make them with Mac drivers.

Linksys, has recently introduced a ethernet to wireless bridge, no drivers needed. You simply connect an ethernet cable between what ever device it is you want to connect and the bridge and configure it using a web browser.

Thanks! Those are exactly the kind of products I was thinking about.
