Hi there,

It's me again with some more n00b questions LOL
So i connected my Ibook (Running OS9) to my PC yesterday just by entering te IP of the PC But how do I connect to my PC with OSX Jaguar? Where can i do something similar as entering a IP......

In the Go Menu, Connect to Server.

The PC has to be able to see something shared out, or it won't even try to share. You have to explicitly share a drive/folder on the Mac for this to work.

BobW's suggestion probably won't let you see the Mac from the PC, though it should let the Mac see the PC. Since you mentioned elsewhere that your PC is running WinXP, I now have to ask which version. XP Home is lacking in the serious networking capabilities that are part of XP Pro, some of which are needed for the two-way connection you appear to be looking for.

I got it working and i'm able to access the folder with all the files i stored on it. BUT!!!!!!!!!! Shitty windows seems to have ****ed up same stuff..... looks like te file extensions are wrong or something..... Files that can normally be executed (install files) are a blank icon now and can not be started

I have winxp prof BTW
The Harddrive witch is shared is a FAT32 partition. A friend of mine suggested me to format as a FAT partition because it's more compatible he said.
