I was delighted that the URL=http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloads1-3.aspx?series=16&Software=True]OS X 10.1.x driver[[/URL] for my no-name PCI Ethernet card using a Realtek RTL8139 chipset finally came out of beta at the beginning of August. Soon thereafter Jaguar came out, at which point I installed the above drivers.

For some time, which presumably varies, network connection through that card using those drivers works fine. At some point in time, usually within a day of a computer reboot, connectivity just dies. Another reboot is the only solution.

For now it's back to the 10Base-T internal Ethernet connection on my PowerMac 7500.

Does anybody else have similar experiences?
