I'm editing this post as I figured out the intial, problem (I got the Mac to connect to the PC, but had to do so by putting in the IP, even though I could see the it in the list), But would still like a full solution. To figure out what I'm talking about see original post below.

---------------------------

Well I'm very happy, abeit, a bit nervous/scared. I just got Jag,and put it on my iBook 600 Combo. I started working on getting file sharing with my school's and my personal PC via my school's wireless (802.11b) network. After trying several things from both sides I was having a terrible time getting things to connect. So I searched the X.2 Knowedge Base and found the artilce stating that, in Windows, the iBook would showup in the "Workgroup" workgroup. Well I had never bothered to try using Windows explorer, but it Worked!. I still haven't figured out how to get the mac to connect to the PC (I can get as far as the Login screen, but never beyond that, even though I know all the info is correct.) Anyone have anythoughts on why?

I'm am a little concerned that doing the connection from Windows was easier, Perhaps if I wasn't on a network where the reverse DNS gave all the computers sames of "nhctcsxxx-xxx.conc.nh.us" it be easier, with plain IP addresses!

(oh btw I also got a iPod, that thing is SWEET!)
