I normally post in the Lounge, so I don't know about how unreasonable I am being in expecting a response to this within the hour. The network went down at the Psychology department, but things are back up. The UPS went out as well, strangely enough. Now that things are back up, the Macs are online and printing, but the PC's won't print.

I have some networking experience, but it is mostly with Macs. I'm pretty much lost when it comes to working with Windows (Win 95, in this instance). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Oh yeah, I get paid if I can solve this within the hour

It might help if you gave more info than "won't print."

I'll take a guess.

Open Printers (Start Menu > Settings > Printers).
Right-click on a printer. Select "Online" (or some equivalent of it).
Print.

Was I right? I want a cut of that green…

Crud. This was the kind of advice I was fishing for, but I didn't get it in time.
If things are still down tomorrow I can prolly still get some green- I'll buy you some stickers or something from a gumball machine, dtriska.
