Yeah I have been a fan of Proxim since I got them to replace my PCI 802 card for free after it stopped working and the warrantee had expired. That USB wireless adapter was tempting but its had some issues I've read about with Macs that aren't USB native.
There just needs to be some more competition for them soon their prices are way too high when you look at comparable PC devices.

I have the Proxim Wireless USB adapter working with my 6400, but had a hell of a time getting it running. If I were purchasing today, I think I would get the LinkSys WET11, which was not available at the time.
I've been using the Proxim Wireless USB adapter for a while on a beige G3/266 with a third-party USB card. There was some problem setting it up, but it seems to work fine now. Yes, they are expensive
